While looking online for my favorite box of chocolate, one that brings back many childhood memories, I found out something that I did not know. Russell Stover Candies purchased Whitman’s Sampler in 1993. I did not know that. And then in 2014 Lindt & Springli, I’m sure you have heard of them, they make fine premium chocolates. Anyway, they purchased Russell Stover and Whitman’s. Whitman’s Sampler celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2013!
